 John A. Strye practices in the area of estate planning, including establishment of various trusts and family limited partnerships, tax planning, trust and probate administration, charitable giving, guardianship proceedings, premarital agreements and contested estates. Prior to joining Bronson & Kahn in 2003, Mr. Strye was a partner in the Estate Planning and Probate Department at Altheimer & Gray. Prior to that, Mr. Strye worked in the tax department at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Mr. Strye received an LL.M. degree in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1993 and graduated from the John Marshall Law School with a Juris Doctor degree in 1992. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1989 with a double-major in Business Finance and Risk Management and Insurance. Mr. Strye is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin, as well as Illinois.
