Daniel R. BronsonDaniel R. Bronson practices primarily in the areas of real estate development, joint ventures, construction law and business law. Mr. Bronson represents clients in such matters as the purchase and sale of hotels, nursing homes, shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, industrial warehouses and raw land; the preparation and negotiation of general contractor's, architect's and subcontractor's agreements; the representation of landlords and tenants in the leasing of office, retail and industrial space; the representation of purchasers of non-performing loans and distressed real estate; the borrowing and making of senior secured, mezzanine and construction loans; the development of mixed use high-rise condominium projects; the conversion of apartment buildings to condominiums and the de-conversion of condominiums to single ownership entities, the development of large suburban tracts of land into single family communities; the raising of private equity for real estate ventures and real estate opportunity funds, and the formation of real estate joint ventures. Mr. Bronson has extensive development experience and has been involved in many of the large condominium projects that have changed the face of Chicago's South Loop.

Mr. Bronson is a periodic speaker at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) annual US Shopping Center Law Conference at which he has led seminars and workshops on various retail shopping center leasing topics.

Mr. Bronson is a 1984 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science and Arts where he graduated in 1981 with High Distinction and the Branstrom Prize for outstanding scholastic achievement. Mr. Bronson is a member of the Real Estate Law Committee and Condominium Subcommittee of the Chicago Bar Association.
