Clive D. Kamins concentrates his practice in the area of complex real estate and commercial litigation, including construction litigation, mechanics lien foreclosures, mortgage foreclosures and the defense of financial institutions involved in consumer class actions and consumer fraud issues. Mr. Kamins has litigated extensively involving trade secrets, unfair competition and covenants not to compete and has defended actions for alleged violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Mr. Kamins was admitted to the bar in 1960 in Illinois and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Trial Bar, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor, with highest honors, from the De Paul University College of Law.
